Triglycidyl Isocyanurate(TGIC) Resin
Triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) polyester resin is a coating material used in many industrial applications. This resin is widely used, especially in powder coating systems.
TGIC polyester resin is a polymer with thermoset properties. It provides high performance when used as a coating material. It provides an excellent adhesion and provides resistance to abrasion, scratches and chemical effects. This resin is also resistant to UV rays in outdoor applications, so it is preferred on surfaces that will be exposed to outdoor conditions.
This polyester resin is particularly suitable for powder coating. Powder coating is the process of spraying electrostatically charged powder particles onto a surface and then curing with heat. TGIC polyester resin allows the powder particles to harden and form a durable coating during this process.
