Aliphatic Hardener, Trimer
Trimer aliphatic isocyanate hardeners are chemical compounds that accelerate or improve the hardening of polyurethane systems. They are HDI-based and have a structure where three isocyanate groups combine to form the trimer ring.
These types of hardeners are widely used in the manufacture of automotive and industrial paints, elastomers, foams and other polyurethane-based products. The properties of these hardeners increase the durability and performance of polyurethane systems and allow them to be used in a variety of industrial applications.
Fast curing, high hardness and durability, chemical resistance, good adhesion, flexibility, low yellowing tendency, higher UV resistance compared to Biuret structure are the main features of the hardeners in trimer structure.
